Evoramonte castle, Estremoz, Portugal.
12th c.Via Flickr: A superb masterpiece of militar architecture. It lays on the top of a hill. This castle was owned by the Braganca, Royal Family of Portugal, which motto was “Depois de vois, nos” that means : after you, we. But the world nos means also KNOTS; in fact you may see the knots on the facade.
