Bouvines 1214 offers a unique event: to reenact a battle that marked the European history of the 13th century. On July 27th 1214, Philip Augustus, King of France, rallying his own barons, faces in the plain of Bouvines Otto von Braunschweig, Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire heading a military coalition.
This year the event took place in Neuville-sur-Essonne, Loiret, France.
